Certain Women Events



In between Apostolic team trips, it seems that the Lord has been orchestrating opportunities to make "Certain Women Ministries" events in Ukraine. As I feel committed to identifying, helping and even launching other "Certain Women" into ministry, the Ukraine has become a rich field for that. One of those women is a special friend and fellow missionary serving in Szeged, Hungary. You can learn more about Arden by clicking on "CEO" under certain friends. Arden and I met through a mutual friend, Carol Griffith who has now moved to South Africa to work in prison ministry there. Arden and I have worked on a number of projects together and are about to embark on one that you will hear more about on later posts. In February, we traveled to Ukraine together with our friend Jennifer from Atlanta and there I was blessed to see Arden blossom as a minister of the gospel. Arden and Jennifer and I, ministered to "Caregivers" on this trip. We had a meeting for the Nehemiah staff, the carers of the various ministries we help and we met with a number of women one on one. Both Arden and Jennifer left part of their hearts in Ukraine and we are already talking about more trips together.

Every trip, whether an A team trip or a Certain Women trip seems to build and add another layer of support and help and care for our dear friends in Ukraine or as it says in Psa 27.13 " I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living."

July 2019 Update One of the high points of summer is always our 8 day long church camp. Amazingly, this was my 5th camp!  Our guests this year were good friends, Pastor Wayne and Sherry Sanders from Chardon, OH and Paul Richards from Melbourne, Australia.  Every camp is special and God never fails to bring us the exact ministry, prophetic words and teachings we need! The turning of a page....

Don't you just love opening a brand new beautiful and colorful notebook, grabbing your favorite pen and deciding what to write on that clean, white page? Or do you hesitate, wondering what if you mess the page up, or your ink runs out or you misspell something or you spill coffee on it???  Sometimes that first word, on the first page is the hardest.  BUT go for it!!! Jump right in! It's a brand new day, a brand new month and time's a wasting!!! I woke up this morning after a great night's sleep, ( which is somewhat rare) Remembered a dream I had (sometimes happens)...in which I Spoke a sentence in Polish and it seemed correct (and short :-) (an absolute first!) I realized then it was August first and I could turn the page on my calendar!! and in that small act of turning a page, I sensed a shift, a much bigger SHIFT. Suddenly, anything was possible, everything was possible!!! Everything was new,  new mercies, new grace, new favor, a new start, new creative ideas

What life is like in Poland!!

I am overwhelmed with the hospitality, the helpfulness and the love of the Polish people! I believe most Polish people have these characteristics but I know I am right now smack in the middle of God's "Uncommon Treasure's" and right in the middle of a refreshing move of the Spirit. The River of God is rising all around the world and He does not want anyone to miss it!!! I have rented an apartment in the downtown area, close to the church and as most of you will not be surprised to hear...it has become a "HUB" of activities!!! On my first Sunday speaking of the new time and the new things God wanted to do, He gave this scripture: Isa 65.8 Thus says the Lord: "As the new wine is found in the cluster,  and they say, 'Do not destroy it, for there is a blessing in it,'" ESV  We began then to add more "clusters", gathering people and being aware of who wasn't yet joined int he cluster.  I began holding ladies meetings every Friday
