New Office of Hope & Life

Image
This is an exciting time for the Hope and Life office in Uzghorod as the team has just moved into a new building with wonderful office space. This was a big step in faith as rent was more than double the previous office. The office is new and is in the heart of town very conveniently located. Already more than 30 students had signed up for English classes. Every lesson is started with prayer and our prayers are for students with a heart to know God. We are greatly encouraged!

Lydia & Gabor - check out the church at http://www.eloige.hu/ What a blessed Saturday visit with  Élő Ige Church. I was warmly received and welcomed by many. Lot's of new growth since I had last been there and LOTS of excitement in what God is doing. I even got to share a little. How my heart rejoices in worshipping in Hungarian. With the words in front of me I am almost fluent.  New to me was the banners and flags. It was so beautiful. I tried to capture it with photos but..... On Sunday, I was the guest speaker for the International Church of Budapest.  We may have been few in numbers this Sunday but we were very international and intentional and everyone got to participate and share. The subject was hearing the voice of God. It was quite animated, the audience lively, too. Ebeneezer and Frida lead worship with all their heart and we all sensed God at work in our midst.  Nine nations represented were Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, USA, Hungary, Scotland, England, Holland and

My heart is refreshed

Today, I am heading out to meet a very special Hungarian "Certain Woman". Besides serious fellowshipping we will be attending a church service at "Living Word" where I attended for 4 plus years in the early days of my time in Budapest. It will be a special reunion, I am sure. On Sunday, I will be preaching in Budapest at the International Church on hearing the voice of God a favorite topic of mine! On Wednesday, I head into Ukraine to meet with the Hope and Life team and to encourage the newly formed group of Ukranian "Certain Women". God called us together by His Spirit during my June trip to Mukachevo. Since then I have been encouraged and have new vision for Hungary and "Certain Women".  I feel like the Lord is saying that it is once again a season of  "Launch" and Ukraine and Romania have started but about Hungary ..."Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find..." It is still time for Hungary and

Women for Women & Certain Women in Romania

MJ, Jackie and Paulette Fellow missionary Jackie Ramsey and I just had our 3rd ladies meeting in Arad, Romania. In March the Lord encouraged us to "launch out" and begin these meeting. Despite the August date we had more than 40 women attend. This time their were more that 6 churches represented which was very encouraging and we had a number of "prebelievers". The worship group brought a sense of anticipation and expectation and the freshness of the Spirit of God.  The meetings are really a step of faith and even the worshippers are unrehearsed until the day and often are new to worshipping with each other. But what a wonderful unity there was with this group and how the Lord commanded a blessing! (Psa 33) I was the lead off speaker and spoke on the sublect of "Crowns" and how God delights in crowning our year with bounty, blessings and goodness. (Psa 65, 21) and how we must "hold fast" our crown that it will not be taken from us. (Rev 3.1
