Anita and Zoli have a special relationship with Arden and with ICF as both their boys were healed as an answer to prayers: Tamas in the womb when Arden's bible study prayed for Anita, and ICF when baby Denes was prayed for and healed of floppy baby syndrome earlier this year. A traditional Thanksgiving dinner with our American friends Mike & Nancy and their wonderful Hungarian neighbors. The meal even included cranberry sauce from USA But we are in Hungary so Nacy wisely served the seasonings in a traditionally Hungarian manner. Did you have paprika with your turkey? Trust you were as blessed as we were. Nancy wrote out the story of the first Thanksgiving in Hungarian and shared it with us. Everyone was impressed with her language skills (and Mike's reading skills) and we were able to share our tradition about this family celebration and being grateful to God for His care and provision. I joined Face Book recently and a friend sent a "note" that I should list 25 specific things I wanted to do in the future. I really took some time to think about it and the list is pretty interesting and as yet unpublished. Some of you might recall last summer when I went to The Call-Nashville and I met up with a wonderful gang of people from the Quad Cities. On Monday Edith and I left Szeged and drove to our friends at Keleti Europa Misszio Alapitvany where we had a great visit and also picked up paperwork for my visa renewal. From there we ran a few errands in Budapest and then headed north about 55 km to visit my country house and friends in Diosjeno. We left there about 8 and arrived safely to Debrecen at 11pm - 3 days and 754 km later but what a great weekend. In Diosjeno, Eva shared with us her latest joy and blessing. The month before she and Sandor had attended a series of meetings with a Catholic priest who was teaching on the Holy Spirit. There were about 40 others who attended. She was so excited as she had received her "angyal nyelv" (angel tongue) and could really tell a difference in prayer!! Thank you, Lord! I was blessed to be asked to speak at the New Covenant Church. Here is some of their leadership team. All are first or second year medical students. In 2 weeks they will come to ICF and do some special music for us and we will bring a couple of our medical students from Debrecen to meet them. Their acappela worship was so anointed!

International Christian Fellowship is also sometimes International Couple Finders :-) Congratulations to Erik and Sara!! who became engaged this summer when back home in Sweden and will marry in Stockholm August 15.

Our second year of the Fellowship is going so well. The whole team was able to meet this weekend (Fri eve and Saturday afternoon) and Jim and Tanya taught on hearing from God and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. We realized that 2 sessions were not enough and so the leadership team will continue teaching about the Holy Spirit for the rest of this year.

My dad, Capt. Edward J. "Bits" Callery and a belated Happy Veterans Day! My mom was an Army nurse and they met when he was hospitalized. They would have been married 62 yr last spring. Me at a much younger age The family celebrating mom's 70th birthday (seventeen years ago!) All of these photos possible because of a scanner! This is all new to me Ha! While I was away my techno-able roomie Edith learned the ins and outs of my printer/scanner combo. She learned just what you needed to do to get a good result on your photos. Just in time because I'm motivated to save all the old black & whites that mom has saved. I want to do a digital project with all the old photos so this was my chance to practice. Enjoy!!

I'm trying out this blog "face" and added a few gadgets - do you like it? I joined Face Book - see link under Certain Friends - Please leave a note on my Face book wall if you would like to join. It really is a fun way to stay in touch. I also am unpacked, clothes washed, bills about to be paid, attended 2 prayer meetings, made dinner, skype chatted and I have only been home 24 hours! With God all things are possible!

Remember when I had M&M's on the grocery list? Well, as I went out the door to buy them, mom says "Don't get peanut butter". What now, flavors? and sure enough - peanut butter M&M's!! What a surprise! I was careful to get the chocolate package. In Hungary, you have 2 choices of M&M's. There is the 4 oz yellow package of plain or the yellow 4 oz package with peanuts. Another surprise came when my brother said I got the wrong kind. Didn't know that he prefers dark chocolate M&M's!! Actually, didn't know they made them, so for fun I checked the web site.
