and in a strange but meaningful full circle - I am back at the internet cafe near the university. The university that incited me to move to Debrecen in 2006. i am here because my beloved and not too old Toshiba laptop seems to have bit the dust. The problem becomes magnified, the solution seems distant as ...it is moving day. ON GOOD NEWS - my car which would not start yesterday has had a serious recharging and is working well - Thank you Janos. His wife Agi feels this is all confirmation I should stay here. So, it will be a little silent for now - miss you.

On May 8th we arrived back in Budapest to the welcoming Person family and our good friend Judith Green from Alaska. Judith had arrived an hour before Edith and I. We enjoyed some time with the Person's, picked up my car and headed for Debrecen for a quick time of fellowship, repacking and headed to Szeged for "Friday at 7". On Saturday we headed back to Debrecen for Judith to minister at "International Church of Debrecen" and on Sunday morning we traveled to Budapest for Judith to minister at the "International Church of Budapest". What a great time we had. Judith had amazing words and prophetic revelation for each of the churches. By Monday we had time to relax until the train arrived with our dear friends and my Pastor from New York, Marlow and Tonya Dunham. Marlow went on to Ukraine and Tonya hopped off to enjoy some sweet fellowship with the "girls". Today, Thursday 15th Judith, Tonya and I train into Ukraine for a week of ministry. I esp...

Washing, mopping, pruning, planting as well as trying to catch up on this blog, send quarterly reports to you and packing for tomorrow's early morning 15 hr drive to visit missionary friends and visit churches in Zhitomer and Kiev. I am so, glad it is a sunny, breezy day so the laundry dries quickly. I will need to pack some of those things. Tammy is in Romania today, Edith will do the planting, the handyman has arrived got to run!

Of course, there seems to be a pattern in it....lots of events, minimum time to report those events before the next concentrated time of events. Now to begin...

I really had a great time! After the ESI assignment, I had really good fellowship with Erin and her roomate Heather and friend Marcus. We got to catch up on our lives, got to catch up on some movies and found a region free dvd player for Erin. On Sunday we went to International Church of Budpest. It is always good to hear Pastor Glenn Ford preach and see friends there. Then we went to my fav Don Pepe's for lunch with the Person family and the Pook's. (sorry no pictures of that :-() Because of Erin and Heather's hospitality, I got to stay in Budapest until Tuesday. So, I planned 2 appointments and the Holy Spirit planned the rest! At last, I had time to go see Lizi, my favorite cosmetician. I had Kata Bartha make the appointment without telling Lizi who would arrive. It was a great surprise. There is something about January, a new year, a new start. An opportunity to access last year and consider goals for this year...and try a new hairdresser :-). This is actually the 2nd visit to Milan, (the first is pictured on the right side of the blog). He is The haircutter to the english speakers - a brilliant advertising ploy, and a great place to meet all the international students. Please pray for me as I travel by car into Ukraine tomorrow. I will be ministering in prayer for a Shabbat service Friday in Uzghorod. Visiting our Alla at her new home in Pavlova Saturday morning then a Hope and Life team lunch and late afternoon I am speaking at a ladies meeting for The Church of the Living God. On Sunday, I am the guest speaker for our Pastor friend Slavik and his church in Perechin. Should travel home by train on Monday. My roommate Tammy is driving back to her other home near Kiev and will be on the road for 12-13 hours. We have just heard that there is a big police push to cat...

Now that is a really good question. It could have been because of the visit from Arden and Jennifer which led up to the 6 day mission trip to Ukraine that ministered to "Caregivers". That event included 3 meetings, various one on one times, numerous prayer times, no shopping trip except to the grocery store :-) a trip to a new orphanage and a Shabbat. Or it could have been due to the business back in Debrecen of dear friend Sherry moving up to Kiev leaving room for new roomie and friend, Tammy moving in. Then I also had to renew my visa which took a bit of paperwork gathering, mailing, signing, receiving and a number of trips to the immigration office. They really are lovely people here in the Debrecen office. Never mind that each of the 3 Debrecen roomates had to furnish different paper...
