What a difference a team makes!!

 Jack and Vince busy at my new (old) place!! Most of the electrical problems I was having - totally solved! Lots of new fixtures in place!
 The "chair contest" 2 kinds of Ikea chairs - Please guys - promise me you will at least "glance" at the directions! - No promises but the chairs are nice and they work!

What a blessing this team was to me personally - I sure felt their love and care!! Pictures can not express adequately all they did. They dealt with the electrical problems, rewired, hung new, replaced old,  added a dimmer light to living room ceiling fixture (bliss!!) Secured connections into the wall, got electric to connections that I never had plus changed bulbs so we have light going into the basement - a precarious job in itself!  The ladies all shopped with purpose for me :-) and we made/hung curtains in the dining room (never had covered that window before) and got beautiful new fabric to cover openings to closet and linen shelf. Tonya worked non-stop to get the curtains made & hung before the ladies meeting. Deb & Diedre got the house picked up and the table ready just in time. Photos to follow.

Lots of new things in my life

I have received a number of very encouraging prophetic Words recently. Most have included my youth being renewed like an eagle's (Isa 40: 30,31) and also saying this was a new season with fresh dreams being fulfilled. Also, that God is stirring up my gifts and graces and bringing them forth in a new way and He has given be a Sarah anointing which will cause me and others to laugh at what the Lord is saying and asking of me! And two of the most important things to happen this year.....

#1 - On March 14, at the immigration office in Krakow, I applied for my residency. Despite having applied on an outdated form, and even with needing another letter from the church, we completed the visit in 45 minutes. They said the decision would be made within 2 months. On May 12, I received news they had granted me a 3 year residency permit but the card would need to be picked up when ready. 2 days before we had to take Mikhaila and Veronica back to the airport, we received the call to come in at any time so we planned it for the morning of the girls flight on June 16.  Here is a glimpse of the card and a photo from our celebratory lunch at Market Square in Krakow. A must see area for tourists. So blessed and grateful to God and the Church here in Tarnow and my wonderful Pastor Jan (Basia) Skarbek and our assistant Pastor Michael Wielgus, admin extraordinary!! Chocolate chip cookies

My mom who was a very good cook and baker, was famous for her chocolate chip cookies. Since she can no longer make them I took it upon myself to "try" to perfect the recipe. This is my latest attempt. (Last weeks were enjoyable but not in the running) Two brothers independently rated them at 8.5 out of 10 - 10 of course would be just like moms. This score could even climb to 9 depending on how they taste frozen. Mom often baked at night and would leave "some" out on a plate and the rest hidden in the freezer so they would last longer. Of course we figured that out pretty quickly and now prefer them frozen. You may like yours golden and crispy but there is a secret ingredient in these and a way to bake them that makes them soft and oh so yummy!!
