A return to Debrecen

How I love a road trip!! This weekend, I am heading out to Debrecen where I lived for 3 years. Debrecen (which is the 2nd or 3rd largest city in Hungary, it rivals Miskolc) is in the Eastern part of the country about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Budapest. I have been invited to speak on Sunday at the "Haz"/House Church (formerly called the International Church of Debrecen). The Lord had me on a 3 year assignment with this church when it was ICD and I have many fond memories of the work, the church, the city and the people. I am thrilled to return to see what the Lord has done and is doing. I will be staying with friend's and enjoying sweet fellowship which is an added blessing. Thanks for praying, as I deliver a Word, I believe is from the Lord for them at this phase of their church life.

Lots of new things in my life

I have received a number of very encouraging prophetic Words recently. Most have included my youth being renewed like an eagle's (Isa 40: 30,31) and also saying this was a new season with fresh dreams being fulfilled. Also, that God is stirring up my gifts and graces and bringing them forth in a new way and He has given be a Sarah anointing which will cause me and others to laugh at what the Lord is saying and asking of me! Chocolate chip cookies

My mom who was a very good cook and baker, was famous for her chocolate chip cookies. Since she can no longer make them I took it upon myself to "try" to perfect the recipe. This is my latest attempt. (Last weeks were enjoyable but not in the running) Two brothers independently rated them at 8.5 out of 10 - 10 of course would be just like moms. This score could even climb to 9 depending on how they taste frozen. Mom often baked at night and would leave "some" out on a plate and the rest hidden in the freezer so they would last longer. Of course we figured that out pretty quickly and now prefer them frozen. You may like yours golden and crispy but there is a secret ingredient in these and a way to bake them that makes them soft and oh so yummy!!

The turning of a page....

Don't you just love opening a brand new beautiful and colorful notebook, grabbing your favorite pen and deciding what to write on that clean, white page? Or do you hesitate, wondering what if you mess the page up, or your ink runs out or you misspell something or you spill coffee on it???  Sometimes that first word, on the first page is the hardest.  BUT go for it!!! Jump right in! It's a brand new day, a brand new month and time's a wasting!!! I woke up this morning after a great night's sleep, ( which is somewhat rare) Remembered a dream I had (sometimes happens)...in which I Spoke a sentence in Polish and it seemed correct (and short :-) (an absolute first!) I realized then it was August first and I could turn the page on my calendar!! and in that small act of turning a page, I sensed a shift, a much bigger SHIFT. Suddenly, anything was possible, everything was possible!!! Everything was new,  new mercies, new grace, new favor, a new start, new creative ideas...
