Mid August School of the Word conference in Austria

What a refreshing time this was!! Many thanks to the church in Miskolc for sponsoring me to go and even driving me there. What sweet fellowship we had.  The organizers (for many years) are Franz and Gerlinda Lippi with B.L.A.S.T. (Balkan Loving Apostolic Serving Team).  18 nations were present and I believe Hungary had the largest delegation.  Many people and churches I know have had many years of relationship with Franz & Gerlinda and Alan & Eileen Vincent. In May I met the Lippi's in Miskolc and that is how I got invited. The worship and all the sessions were in English with translation through headsets for those who needed. I was so blessed to be there. Every evening we had "Tent of Meeting" style of worship with prophecies.  The Tuesday evening was especially touching as God revealed His heart for the nations and a prophetic Word was released that God was giving back to Europe it's song and dance!!  Wow!! A promise of freedom from depression, oppression and hopelessness!!

The guest speakers, all sons of Alan Vincent were Mark Kariuki, Kenya; Don Leavell, Corpus Christi, TX, USA; Barry Wissler, Pennsylvania,USA; and Franz Lippi, Graz, Austria.

The theme of the conference was the attributes of God, and how being immersed in the Ezek 47 River of God caused us to mature in our Christlikeness.

Barry spoke wonderful on several faucets of Grace; Don Leavell spoke impact fully on the Power of the lamb!! We were encouraged to live and move out as an army of lambs for when "lambs" have the victory all Glory goes to God!  Mark spoke powerfully on the faithfulness of God and how to speak to our troubles; Franz not only spoke about Integrity, God used him to impart integrity!!

I am busy copying all my notes, they were so rich.

As a last prophetic act, representatives of each nation, took their flag and colors and laid them at the feet of the lamb to take up His banner of love, righteous, integrity and grace, a white banner.

Looking forward int he Spirit and in reality to these nations working and walking together, representing the Kingdom of God.

The turning of a page....

Don't you just love opening a brand new beautiful and colorful notebook, grabbing your favorite pen and deciding what to write on that clean, white page? Or do you hesitate, wondering what if you mess the page up, or your ink runs out or you misspell something or you spill coffee on it???  Sometimes that first word, on the first page is the hardest.  BUT go for it!!! Jump right in! It's a brand new day, a brand new month and time's a wasting!!! I woke up this morning after a great night's sleep, ( which is somewhat rare) Remembered a dream I had (sometimes happens)...in which I Spoke a sentence in Polish and it seemed correct (and short :-) (an absolute first!) I realized then it was August first and I could turn the page on my calendar!! and in that small act of turning a page, I sensed a shift, a much bigger SHIFT. Will you put your shoes in the window sill tonight?

Most Westerners are surprised to learn that in Hungary, Santa Claus is not really a feature of Christmas proper. Althought the red suited one is a familiar figure to Hungarian children, he takes a back seat to the gift bearing Christ child and his angels on Christmas eve. Indeed, old St Nick is relegated to the early part of December, coming around Hungarian houses only on Mikulas eve. Tonight, December 5, Hungarian children place their shoes on the window sill before going to bed. During the night, the kindly old Saint Mikulas fills their shoes with candy. While this sounds familiar, Mikulas differs markedly from his Western counterpart in that he is helped by a dark side-kick, Krampusz. Krampusz is a horned devil who puts a switch into the shoes of naughty children instead of candy! But this seems to be a very rare occurrence.
