It is almost time for "Friday at 7" to begin


"Friday at 7", International Christian Fellowship-Szeged is the official name of our outreach to the english speaking high school and university students living in Szeged, the Hungarian town on the southern border. See posting from March 17 for the story of the beginnings.


Please pray for us as we meet this Friday to finalise the plans for unofficial start, Friday, Sept 14 and the concert, Sept 29 to announce the new fellowship. Because our meetings will be in "english only" and on Friday evenings, we are getting a lot of great support from the local pastors. Praise God.


We have a very good location secured, we have worship teams and guitars but please pray with us for the rest of the sound system we need. Life is exciting but we all need your prayers. Thank you!

July 2019 Update One of the high points of summer is always our 8 day long church camp. Amazingly, this was my 5th camp!  Our guests this year were good friends, Pastor Wayne and Sherry Sanders from Chardon, OH and Paul Richards from Melbourne, Australia.  Every camp is special and God never fails to bring us the exact ministry, prophetic words and teachings we need! The turning of a page....

Don't you just love opening a brand new beautiful and colorful notebook, grabbing your favorite pen and deciding what to write on that clean, white page? Or do you hesitate, wondering what if you mess the page up, or your ink runs out or you misspell something or you spill coffee on it???  Sometimes that first word, on the first page is the hardest.  BUT go for it!!! Jump right in! It's a brand new day, a brand new month and time's a wasting!!! I woke up this morning after a great night's sleep, ( which is somewhat rare) Remembered a dream I had (sometimes happens)...in which I Spoke a sentence in Polish and it seemed correct (and short :-) (an absolute first!) I realized then it was August first and I could turn the page on my calendar!! and in that small act of turning a page, I sensed a shift, a much bigger SHIFT. Suddenly, anything was possible, everything was possible!!! Everything was new,  new mercies, new grace, new favor, a new start, new creative ideas

What life is like in Poland!!

I am overwhelmed with the hospitality, the helpfulness and the love of the Polish people! I believe most Polish people have these characteristics but I know I am right now smack in the middle of God's "Uncommon Treasure's" and right in the middle of a refreshing move of the Spirit. The River of God is rising all around the world and He does not want anyone to miss it!!! I have rented an apartment in the downtown area, close to the church and as most of you will not be surprised to hear...it has become a "HUB" of activities!!! On my first Sunday speaking of the new time and the new things God wanted to do, He gave this scripture: Isa 65.8 Thus says the Lord: "As the new wine is found in the cluster,  and they say, 'Do not destroy it, for there is a blessing in it,'" ESV  We began then to add more "clusters", gathering people and being aware of who wasn't yet joined int he cluster.  I began holding ladies meetings every Friday
