GOIAM

Image
I was so blessed to be able to travel to the USA to attend the Grace Outreach International Association of Ministries GOIAM conference again this year.  The event is hosted by Grace Fellowship, Nashua, New Hampshire and Pastor Paul Berube. Paul and his wife Sandy and I met in 1979 in Anchorage, Alaska. This was the 12th year of GOIAM and as always was a rich time in Word, Spirit, Praise, Worship and sweet fellowship.  Attendees this year were from over 9 different countries and about a dozen states.  Speakers were the ever enriching and challenging R.T. Kendall and this year Michael P. Cavanaugh, head of Elim Bible in Lima, NY.  Also, a friend and IHOP missionary, Joshua Hawkins. We were blessed with an evening of worship called "Tent of Meeting", a key weekly event at Grace, and a "sampler" of the monthly meeting "Shabbat". Both were amazing times in God's Presence. In addition, this conference, is a time to meet up with old and new friends an...

Team in Budapest

Here we are together, as a direct result of divine intervention. Mary Jill, Johnny K. Palmer, Nadia Kolivayko and Abbe Lewis A new generation of international world changers orbiting through Batthyany 18.   Between these 3 young ones is the ability to speak English, Russian, Hungarian and German...fluently. Later, a post on their musical prowess and how God has called both Johnny and Abbe to influence the mountain of entertainment for Kingdom purposes. I am so blessed...in the city and in the country and in countries! :-)

Pastor Jilly does an International wedding

Image
Within 3 days of returning to Budapest from the summer trip, I was honored to officiate at a wedding blessing for a Hungarian man and his Dutch bride. For some it was a destination wedding, for other's it was home territory and for me, it was an incredible blessing.  We were on a horse farm,  buildings with thatched roofs and horse rides to the nearby Reformed Church for the blessing ceremony. Then the reception included traditional folk music and a couple to teach the folk dances.  What an experience! I also, so enjoyed the warm reception of the many Dutch family members. We were all blessed! Congratulations to Levente and Hanneke!

Batthyany 18 miracle

For more than 10 years, I have had a dream of renovating the basement space of my building.  In those years, I have been able to put in or renew windows and a front door and finally was able to add a bathroom.  Because of the persistence and research of a dear friend's husband we were able to put in a very good heating system where there was none and upgrade the pump(s) for lifting the sewage.  Whew!!  Big progress but not really useable or livable...... And then suddenly, largely because of the God sent missionary catalyst, named Nadia, work has resumed and with a speed, that has taken my breath away!  I believe God's timing is not the same as our's but His ways are perfectly in tune and on time. Thanks for "invading" my space, Nadia and sharing your connections. Work in progress

Traveling in May

Image
Traveling this spring took me to San Antonio and New Braunfels, Texas.  I met with and was a speaker for AIM, Texas. It was a "Combining Fires" Conference and I had the privilege of speaking on Pentecost Sunday. I spoke on the wind and the fire of God and was soon after caught up in the wind of change! I was the house guest of John and Karen Dean in San Antonio, here with their daughter, Karen. John is one of the Apostolic heads of AIM and has made many trips to Budapest. This was the first time I got to meet his girls.
