REPORT: And photos: Now is the time to Arise, Certain Women!!! Spring meeting!

What a wonderful meeting we had. Around 80 in attendance from many different churches and cities around Budapest. Worship was with Prazak, Laci & Csilla and their wonderful musician friends, with special music with rising star, David Henderson  and a beautiful song "signed" by a missionary to deaf community, Michelle Smith. A local Andrea Nadler also painted a spontaneous, prophetic picture during worship.

I wanted the entire event to inspire and demonstrate HOPE for the future. I believe God is beginning to break off the discouragement that the enemy and circumstances uses to cap and block a free flowing life in Christ. We highlighted ministry opportunities already available by having women in ministry showcased and exhibiting at tables. One of the unexpected results of the gathering was the "reunion" aspect. Many people invited had not had an opportunity to see each other in years and there was even time for sweet fellowship.

I believe the Lord gave me Isaiah 60 for the Hungarian church. "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the Glory of the Lord has risen upon you!  I believe that for that light to shine fully and for the church to Arise, depression, oppression and discouragement needs to be broken off the people. Why? Because there is a great harvest coming and a world-wide revival about to pour out and the church needs to be ready!! Each one of us has to be revived, risen and shining.  In the Spirit I can already hear the rattling of the bones coming together to stand up as the exceeding, great army of God! (Ezek 37:7,10)  God gave me a good message with 2 key points showing things that discourage us from stepping up and out and a caution for the church.  The first point was how often we feel like the widow who cried out to Elisha in 2 Kings 4. When he asked "What do you have in the house?" she replied..."Your servant has nothing in the house....except a jar of oil".  Those who know the story, know that - the little was indeed enough!! Each of us need to understand that we indeed have something already that God can use!! The second key point was that often we feel our past disqualifies us from being used by God and I used as example from Joshua 2, the story of Rahab and how her faith in God lead to not only her salvation but also her whole family! God is interested in our whole family being saved!! Many heard for the very first time that word cord in "scarlet cord" that Rahab hung from the window as a marker to be spared is the Hebrew word "tiqvah" which means HOPE!   It is imperative that we all have hope for our futures despite the circumstances we find ourselves in because hope is the oil that enflames faith and keeps our light ablaze!!  The word of caution I had for the church was from Luke 15.11-32, the story of the prodigal son and the difference between the welcoming spirit of the Father and the jealous spirit of the elder brother.  As all these new ones come into the church we MUST welcome, accept and love them as the Father does.

The music, the message, the fellowship seemed to resonate very positively with everyone who came.
New doors of ministry opened for me and we are planning another meeting either the last quarter of 2014 or the first quarter of 2015. Stay tuned!!
