Ukraine with Alaska & New York team
This team started with Jack & Deb Marsh arriving in Budapest about 4 hours before the New Yorkers, so I met them at the airport and then the Person's joined us at McDonald's.
Jim & Tanya, formerly from Alaska and Deb & Jack Marsh - Alaskan's
Serious catching up always requires copious amounts of coffee and treats
Then back to the airport (no longer called Ferihegy, now called Franz Liszt Airport) to meet the New Yorker's - Marlow & Tonya Dunham and VInce & Diedre Brassard and NY missionaries to Ukraine Jim & Laurie Sliz drove in from Ukraine to help with the luggage - see why?
In a "Jillyish" surprise, I kidnaped Tonya and we stayed overnight in Budapest before heading to the Ukraine by train. I had a LOT going on and needed an extra day in town and Tonya and I appreciated the time together and a good night's sleep before traveling. (Here feet are much smaller that they look here :-)
OK, settled in on the very pleasant train and 5 hours later - Ukraine
