Ukraine Ministry - Part 2

Volodya our ministry partner, pastor & translator, Lola, Arkadi & some of the team.
One of our first meetings was with Lola and her team. She ministers to more than 500 families bringing them food, wood and helping them with official paperwork. The families she helps are very poor and many are gypsies. Lola is on a special EU committee in Kiev that decides grants for Trans-Carpathia area. This year they received funding for a village to dig a well and now they have 2 social workers helping the village get the help they need. Shese social workers are part of Lola's team and are helping to do a transforming work in the village. Lola and her team were crying out to the Lord for help some year's ago and God sent Marlow. Lola says he is their "dad" in the Lord.

 Certain women - Uzghorod - a precious, group of warrior women, encouraging each other, standing together in strength and hope and praying together weekly. These women are able ministers in their own right and they are affecting a nation and tearing down strongholds in Jesus Mighty Name!

July 2019 Update One of the high points of summer is always our 8 day long church camp. Amazingly, this was my 5th camp!  Our guests this year were good friends, Pastor Wayne and Sherry Sanders from Chardon, OH and Paul Richards from Melbourne, Australia.  Every camp is special and God never fails to bring us the exact ministry, prophetic words and teachings we need! The turning of a page....

Don't you just love opening a brand new beautiful and colorful notebook, grabbing your favorite pen and deciding what to write on that clean, white page? Or do you hesitate, wondering what if you mess the page up, or your ink runs out or you misspell something or you spill coffee on it???  Sometimes that first word, on the first page is the hardest.  BUT go for it!!! Jump right in! It's a brand new day, a brand new month and time's a wasting!!! I woke up this morning after a great night's sleep, ( which is somewhat rare) Remembered a dream I had (sometimes happens)...in which I Spoke a sentence in Polish and it seemed correct (and short :-) (an absolute first!) I realized then it was August first and I could turn the page on my calendar!! and in that small act of turning a page, I sensed a shift, a much bigger SHIFT. Suddenly, anything was possible, everything was possible!!! Everything was new,  new mercies, new grace, new favor, a new start, new creative ideas

Will you put your shoes in the window sill tonight?

Most Westerners are surprised to learn that in Hungary, Santa Claus is not really a feature of Christmas proper. Althought the red suited one is a familiar figure to Hungarian children, he takes a back seat to the gift bearing Christ child and his angels on Christmas eve. Indeed, old St Nick is relegated to the early part of December, coming around Hungarian houses only on Mikulas eve. Tonight, December 5, Hungarian children place their shoes on the window sill before going to bed. During the night, the kindly old Saint Mikulas fills their shoes with candy. While this sounds familiar, Mikulas differs markedly from his Western counterpart in that he is helped by a dark side-kick, Krampusz. Krampusz is a horned devil who puts a switch into the shoes of naughty children instead of candy! But this seems to be a very rare occurrence.
