May Schedule - Hit the ground running!!

Saturday April 30 - Arrived back to Budapest, Non-stop American flight, very crowded!
Sunday, May 1 - Mother's Day in Hungary. Preached at the International Church of Budapest
Monday, May 2 - 5.00 pm Started  to lead a 10 week Bible Study called "Forgiven and Set Free" for post abortive women:  5 women began the course. Next Monday is last week to add anyone new.
Tuesday, May 3 - Dinner with special friends - American Missionary married to Hungarian and their 8yr old

Wednesday, May 4 - Back in the country - unpack, do admin, catch up blog and prep for rest of month
  thru Friday, May 6  
Saturday, May 7 - Back to Budapest for house guest, British friend who lives in Szeged

Sunday, May 8 - 10.30 am Intl Church of Budapest (ICB) joint service with Russian Church with luncheon
Mon - Wed - Back in country more prep and planning

Scottish team arriving for mission trip to Romania
Thurs, May 12 - 10.35 Team arrives Ferihegy 1, settle in hotel, time in Budapest
Friday, May 13 - 9.10am Train Travel to Arad, Romania
                           5.00pm Evangelistic Meeting at school in village of Sofronea
Saturday, May 14 - Team tours Arad and shops
                            4.00 pm Meet for prayer Arad
                             5.00 pm - City wide woman's meeting starts (Year 2 of "Women for Women" meetings)
Sunday, May 15 - 2.00 pm Leave for village of Vinga for Gypsy Church meeting
Monday, May 16 - 11.00am Train back to Budapest
                              6.00pm Dinner along Danube
Tuesday, May 17 - 10.00 Day out to countryside and shopping in Szentendre
Wednesday, May 18 - More of Budapest
                                6.00 pm Meeting with Russian Church
Thursday, May 19 - 11.05 am Scottish team leaves

                                Missionary friend Tammy arrives for 10 days
Sunday, May 22 - 10.30 ICB Tammy speaks
Monday, May 23 - 5.00pm "Forgiven & Set Free" Bible Study
Tuesday, May 24 - 7.00am Travel by car into Gherla, Romania with Tammy until Friday, May 27
Friday, May 27 - return to Budapest
Saturday, May 28 - Recover :-)
Sunday, May 29 - 10.30 - ICB
Monday, May 30 - 5.00pm  Week 4 of Forgiven & Set Free Bible Study
Tuesday, May 31 - A day of rest before traveling into Ukraine!!

July 2019 Update One of the high points of summer is always our 8 day long church camp. The turning of a page....

Don't you just love opening a brand new beautiful and colorful notebook, grabbing your favorite pen and deciding what to write on that clean, white page? Or do you hesitate, wondering what if you mess the page up, or your ink runs out or you misspell something or you spill coffee on it???  Sometimes that first word, on the first page is the hardest.  BUT go for it!!! Jump right in! It's a brand new day, a brand new month and time's a wasting!!! I woke up this morning after a great night's sleep, ( which is somewhat rare) Remembered a dream I had (sometimes happens)...in which I Spoke a sentence in Polish and it seemed correct (and short :-) (an absolute first!) I realized then it was August first and I could turn the page on my calendar!! and in that small act of turning a page, I sensed a shift, a much bigger SHIFT. Suddenly, anything was possible, everything was possible!!! Everything was new,  new mercies, new grace, new favor, a new start, new creative ideas

What life is like in Poland!!

I am overwhelmed with the hospitality, the helpfulness and the love of the Polish people! I believe most Polish people have these characteristics but I know I am right now smack in the middle of God's "Uncommon Treasure's" and right in the middle of a refreshing move of the Spirit. The River of God is rising all around the world and He does not want anyone to miss it!!! I have rented an apartment in the downtown area, close to the church and as most of you will not be surprised to hear...it has become a "HUB" of activities!!! On my first Sunday speaking of the new time and the new things God wanted to do, He gave this scripture: Isa 65.8 Thus says the Lord: "As the new wine is found in the cluster,  and they say, 'Do not destroy it, for there is a blessing in it,'" ESV  We began then to add more "clusters", gathering people and being aware of who wasn't yet joined int he cluster.  I began holding ladies meetings every Friday
