Operation-Outcry in Ukraine
With only one and 1/2 days for Ukraine we were amazed at the platforms God created for us. We are also so thankful to Volodya S.with Hope & Life Ministries for setting up the schedule, translating and taking such good care of us.
Our schedule started with an interview for the TransCarpathian television station. Then we spoke to a group of about 50 students and teachers at a Technical School and a television station filmed us there and then a press conference with multiple TV, radio and internet stations. At the press conference both ladies were interviewed along with a leading gynecologist and psychologist. The interview was streamed live over an internet site.
We also managed to meet one of the "Certain Women" Angelika and prayed with her for healing for her 10 year old daughter Esther who has been diagnosed with MS, which is very unusual in a young person. We are praying and believing God to turn that diagnosis.
With the headmistress of the technical school
With Angelika and Esther after prayer time
At the press conference
At the Television studio
We were so blessed to be in Uzghorod during the one week a year that the cherry trees were in blossom!
Our host - with the most - even managed to get us coffee to go before an early morning meeting
Some of the students at technical school
We left most places needing to pray for listeners and even a camera woman who was deeply touched by our stories. Abortion touches almost everyone's life, family, church especially here in Eastern Europe where an abortion is free but contraception is costly. No one has told the story of the devastation after the fact. There is no crisis pregnancy center in the Transcarpathian area and therefore no help for post-abortive women....for now. We are praying for a center, we are praying about going back in the fall and doing a group training for ladies from the churches to reach out to the hurting. Pray for this with us. Thank you!
