Beautiful April and polar bears







I received the most amazing sms (text message) on my phone this week. I had thought to blog it on the day but really need to now. It is the kind of message you never thought you'd see. My friend Erin wrote from Budapest "I just saw a POLAR BEAR cross Andrassy ut! not in a cage, but loose! Wow!" I wondered if the bear was going to TGIF's, or the Opera or just out for a stroll in this beautiful weather. I hoped Erin had her camera handy and kept checking her blog (which needs updating :-). Also, checked internet news sources and found an alligator causing traffic problems in Florida but no one had heard about the bear. It was only yesterday I discovered
the message came in on Tuesday....April 1!! and guess who the April fool was?? That was a good one, Erin. Hmmmmm, now how many people did I tell about that sms??

The turning of a page....

Don't you just love opening a brand new beautiful and colorful notebook, grabbing your favorite pen and deciding what to write on that clean, white page? Or do you hesitate, wondering what if you mess the page up, or your ink runs out or you misspell something or you spill coffee on it???  Sometimes that first word, on the first page is the hardest.  BUT go for it!!! Jump right in! It's a brand new day, a brand new month and time's a wasting!!! I woke up this morning after a great night's sleep, ( which is somewhat rare) Remembered a dream I had (sometimes happens)...in which I Spoke a sentence in Polish and it seemed correct (and short :-) (an absolute first!) I realized then it was August first and I could turn the page on my calendar!! and in that small act of turning a page, I sensed a shift, a much bigger SHIFT. What life is like in Poland!!

I am overwhelmed with the hospitality, the helpfulness and the love of the Polish people! I believe most Polish people have these characteristics but I know I am right now smack in the middle of God's "Uncommon Treasure's" and right in the middle of a refreshing move of the Spirit. The River of God is rising all around the world and He does not want anyone to miss it!!! I have rented an apartment in the downtown area, close to the church and as most of you will not be surprised to hear...it has become a "HUB" of activities!!! On my first Sunday speaking of the new time and the new things God wanted to do, He gave this scripture: Isa 65.8 Thus says the Lord: "As the new wine is found in the cluster,  and they say, 'Do not destroy it, for there is a blessing in it,'" ESV  We began then to add more "clusters", gathering people and being aware of who wasn't yet joined int he cluster.  I began holding ladies meetings every Friday
