Newsletter at last!!!!

A year of renovation, new growth, new life, new seasons! 

On August 16,2013 the renovation of the “potato room” was re-started and the ministry room was inaugurated in Dec 2013 with a youth group that meets monthly. With persistence, and great help, the long imagined ministry space was completed on May 9th, 2014!! The space includes a nice sized ministry room complete with projector (lights & surround sound) for gatherings and film nights, a custom kitchen, a bath and 1/2, a den and dining area and 2 bedrooms.  Even during construction, new songs were written and recorded there, and a Hungarian TV crew filmed a number of episodes of the reality show "Édes Élet" (The Sweet Life). Now the space is busy with "Certain Women" planned events, unexpected events and countless guests both local and from the nations. Even though I have been in Hungary for 17 years, the Lord recently said "Now" the infra-structure is in place. I am so excited to see what builds from here. The strategy of "Certain (Young)  Women" Nadia Kolivayko (CWM) and Sarah Goldstein (YWAM) Create a  community of passionate believers  ....who love with abandonment ... always  ....who Feed everyone ....and House the nations For example, in this last week of summer 26 people from the nations of Cyprus, Ukraine, Crimea, US, France, Germany, Armenia, Romania, Holland and Hungary were housed from 1 to 7 nights and yes, we need upstairs, too. These were varied groups including pro-lifer ministers and an evangelistic rock band! Of course, food was involved with some pretty extraordinary prayer times, great fellowship and inspiring movie nights.  "Certain Women" working together. Expanding the kingdom. "Follow Me (said Jesus) and I will make you fishers of men". The "Boat" (ministry space) is finished, and the fishermen/women are being launched into (and out from) Budapest ... We see this Budapest "Net" being woven together with various ministries coming together...Certain Women, YWAM, M.A.D. (Make a Difference) with a number of churches,too. What God wants to do here (and all over the world) is much bigger than any one person or ministry can accomplish.  Outreaches: Tuesday and Thursday evenings - Bible studies at "Szimpla Kert" - a rather infamous, many roomed pub in Budapest. Sarah and Nadia and various friends lead Spirit lead Bible studies with amazing results! These girls and their friends are wonderful "bait".   People are then invited to continue conversations and enjoy music on Friday evenings at Rezkigyo, YWAM's coffee shop... and then invited to attend the (often) weekly Sunday evenings for M.A.D (Make a Difference) events spearheaded by our Moldovan, artist friend, Sasha from the Russian Church....  Then....Monday evening back to our Ministry Center for Alpha, with dinner, dvd, discussion and prayer...all to get to know Jesus better. - Perfect for the newly curious, the new believers and the pre-believers. Our early August, movie "Holy Ghost" was attended by more than 20 young people and resulted in all crying out for more of the Holy Spirit. We have scheduled  "The Father of Lights" to be shown this weekend and expect more good reports. (update: a visitor passing through attended and got saved!!! Glory to God, please pray for Sam.) We are excited to say that we are already seeing results, as a number of pre-believers have come into a relationship with Jesus.  We are starting our 2nd Alpha program in English and have 5-6 committed to attend. We are partnering with local churches to see these new believers planted and growing in their faith. Our hearts are bursting with knowledge that the fields are really ripe for harvest. Please be praying for new believers Tamas, Simone, and Beni and for Raphael, Peti, and Bertram to receive Jesus. Please contact me, if you would like more frequent updates of these outreaches.  Chantal (a visiting missionary, in from Thailand heading now to Israel was down with a serious back problem. She and Sarah began sharing testimonies and Sarah help Chantal stand up and they began to dance and Chantal was totally healed!! Right in front of my eyes!!! All Glory to God. Two days later she was able to get on the plan and she is totally healed and able to prayer walk the streets of Jerusalem and dance before the Lord in worship!

Above is a picture of an Alpha night prayer time. On the left, a new Hungarian believer is praying with a visiting American missionary, and an Italian missionary in Budapest who are leading a young Italian man to the Lord! Right here in our ministry room!! All Glory to God!!
