Recent trip to Ukraine

What a blessing it was to go into Ukraine with friend and Pastor Marlow Dunham, and Gary Sherman from the River Church in Poughkeepsie, NY. We visited our friends at the Life Ministry, Nadja, Vika, Rita, Marlow, Oxanna and Volodya, Gary. Then to Mukachevo where Pastor Misha has a church. Here is Misha, Marlow, Volodya and Carlos. Marlow, Gary and I all ministered at this Tuesday evening prayer meeting. Carlos translated into Hungarian and Volodya into Ukrainian.

This is a picture of Carlos's wife Lalo and their one month old baby Gloria. Carlos tried to wake her up so I could hold her. This pregnancy and problem free delivery is a miracle story. Two years ago Lalo was paralysed and at the point death. Much prayer from many nations resulted in her being almost 100% whole.

Mary Jill, I have been trying to find an email to write you at but I guess this will have to do for now. I just wanted to write you and say I miss you so very much, almost as much as I miss Ukraine. I was just reading through your blogs and wondering if you had any new news for me concerning Alla or the ministry in Ukriane. The things I have been hearing have been encouraging. I can't wait to go back and see you all once more. This week just finished up finals for me and still I feel as though I am not really here, in the US. Even after 6 months of being "home" I feel as if I am still missing parts of me in Ukraine. I think about Alla and the team and my class at Chaslivsti daily wishing I could be there to help in some way. Until then though, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you lots of love... The turning of a page....

Don't you just love opening a brand new beautiful and colorful notebook, grabbing your favorite pen and deciding what to write on that clean, white page? Or do you hesitate, wondering what if you mess the page up, or your ink runs out or you misspell something or you spill coffee on it???  Sometimes that first word, on the first page is the hardest.  BUT go for it!!! Jump right in! It's a brand new day, a brand new month and time's a wasting!!! I woke up this morning after a great night's sleep, ( which is somewhat rare) Remembered a dream I had (sometimes happens)...in which I Spoke a sentence in Polish and it seemed correct (and short :-) (an absolute first!) I realized then it was August first and I could turn the page on my calendar!! and in that small act of turning a page, I sensed a shift, a much bigger SHIFT. Suddenly, anything was possible, everything was possible!!! Everything was new,  new mercies, new grace, new favor, a new start, new creative ideas

What life is like in Poland!!

I am overwhelmed with the hospitality, the helpfulness and the love of the Polish people! I believe most Polish people have these characteristics but I know I am right now smack in the middle of God's "Uncommon Treasure's" and right in the middle of a refreshing move of the Spirit. The River of God is rising all around the world and He does not want anyone to miss it!!! I have rented an apartment in the downtown area, close to the church and as most of you will not be surprised to hear...it has become a "HUB" of activities!!! On my first Sunday speaking of the new time and the new things God wanted to do, He gave this scripture: Isa 65.8 Thus says the Lord: "As the new wine is found in the cluster,  and they say, 'Do not destroy it, for there is a blessing in it,'" ESV  We began then to add more "clusters", gathering people and being aware of who wasn't yet joined int he cluster.  I began holding ladies meetings every Friday
